Group Project 2: Preparing the Final Curriculum Design Proposal Your group’s final curriculum design proposal is due Sunday of Week 5.
By Monday, the Week 5 Facilitator should create a “Final Slides” page on the group wiki. Group members should upload the slides they complete for the final curriculum design proposal to this page.
By Monday, all group members should visit the “Final Slides” page and post which version of PPT they plan to use to create their slides. If the versions are different across group members, it is the responsibility of the Week 5 Facilitator to determine which version will work for all group members (e.g. if three group members have the 2007 version and two have the 2003 version, ALL group members should save their slides with the 2003 version). This will ensure that slides from all group members can be combined into one final presentation.
By Tuesday, the Week 5 Facilitator should post the version of PPT to be used by all group members to the Final Slides page of the group wiki.
Tuesday, 7/5 12:50 AM (MST): Group: I am using Power Point 2010, Kyong & Lita are using Power Point 2007, and Trevor is using Power Point 2003. I have not heard from Suzanne regarding which version she is using, so I do not know, So, based on the information I have at this point, I have decided that we will be using version 2003 to complete our final presentation for Dr. Burke. Please prepare your slides and save them as version 2003.
Based on the group role you were assigned in Week 1, continue to work on preparing the final set of narrated PPT slides for your assigned portion of the curriculum design proposal (See the Week 1 Optional Resources for a tutorial on SoundBooth if necessary). All component slides should be submitted to the wiki by Friday of Week 5. After all Content Designers have submitted their slides to the “Final Slides” page on the group wiki, the Leader will compile all group members’ contributions into the final curriculum design proposal PPT presentation, due on Sunday of Week 5. It is the responsibility of Content Designers 1–4 to submit the slides for their assigned parts of the presentation to the “Final Slides” page in the group wiki. It is the responsibility of the Leader to compile all component slides, plus the Introductory and Concluding slides, into the final curriculum design proposal PPT presentation.
By Friday, all Content Designers and the Leader should submit component slides to the “Final Slides” page of the wiki.
By Sunday, the Leader should compile all component slides into the final curriculum design proposal, a narrated PPT presentation.
Power Point Versions: Ann - Power Point Version- I use Power Point 2010
Final Presentation Power Point Slides (due Friday, July 8th)
Trevor- Sorry to keep anybody waiting. I saw my name posted at the top as using powerpoint 2010. That was my original plan but I do have a 2003 version in Japanese. I can use that and it should open in English for all of you. Please let me know if it doesn't. Although I think it will because I've used it in several other classes with no complaints. Just have to figure out the sound part. Shouldn't be too hard.
